James L. Wilks is a skilled transactional attorney with over 45 years of experience, dedicating his practice primarily to estates, probate, trusts, real estate, contracts, business entities, oil and gas, and wind energy. Mr. Wilks obtained his bachelor of science from Abilene Christian College in 1958 and received his law degree from the University of Houston Law School in 1967, where he was a member of the Law Review. Mr. Wilks is very active in Texas Lions International and was inducted into the Texas Lions Hall of Fame in 2008. He is currently serving as President of the Board of Directors for the Texas Lions Camp. In addition to his substantial relationship with our firm, Mr. Wilks maintains an office practice in Sweetwater, TX. Mr. Wilks is licensed to practice law before all state courts in Texas.
